We’re in search of the kind of people who seek a greater ROI than simple financial gain. At Vincent’s Pokémon Trade-Up Journey, our mission goes beyond collectibles — we aim to make a tangible difference in the life of my 14-year-old son, Vincent, who lives with terminal Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, and in the lives of other children facing similar medical challenges.
If you want more from your investments, look for the ones that aim to change the world. The return will be far greater than you can imagine.
The kind of support we need doesn’t exist yet — so we’re building it. From the ground up. With honesty, transparency, and heart. Every trade, every connection, and every act of goodwill brings us closer not only to an accessible home for Vincent but to the foundation of something much bigger: The Vincent Hogan-Bates Quality of Life Foundation.
Our vision is to expand this mission to help other kids and families living with life-altering conditions — providing accessibility, mobility, therapy, and opportunities that improve quality of life. We want to create a system where compassion and collaboration move the needle, and where community becomes a catalyst for real-world change.
We’re also hoping to partner with key names and organizations within the hobby space — people and brands that believe in doing good while doing what they love. Companies like Collectr, who have already begun to show up for us and acknowledge our work, set an example of what the hobby can become when empathy leads.
It’s disheartening to see that some hesitate to get involved simply because we’re not viral yet, or don’t have a massive following. But this movement isn’t about hype — it’s about humanity. So to those waiting on the sidelines: if you don’t want to partner for good now, don’t expect to jump on board when the audience builds.
We’re building something lasting — something that grows roots deeper than trends. Because at the end of the day, we’re not just collecting cards… We’re collecting hope. And we strive for positive results in every possible way.
